Being influenced by 70´s oriented prog acts like ELP, Genesis, Gentle Giant and Yes he, in addition to being pretty much out of fashion, was dreaming of starting his own band, playing only original music. Soon he found out that his fellow schoolmate Kristofer Eng was a big fan of Yes. They continued talking about the progressive rock music of the 70´s until the temptation of starting a band could no longer be ignored.
